Job Introduction
Hatherleigh Nursing Home supports people who can no longer live on their own, who need support with day to day living, who need to be supported to live independently, happy and with fulfilment.
To be a Care Assistant you don’t need to have any experience or qualifications in care, what you do need though is compassion and to be able to have empathy and show kindness for others.
The home offers an ever-continuing support network which starts here at application stage where we talk you through what to expect and what you will be doing when working in a care home. The two-week induction, buddy & mentoring system, fun continuous online & classroom training and a 24/7 welfare support team – are here to support you; you really are never alone when working at Hatherleigh Nursing Home.
Our pay rate also reflects how much we value you, we have a highly competitive hourly rate for the Devon region which is above and beyond the standard living wage, along with paid breaks, bank holiday enhancements, free training, free DBS, free parking, local to public transport and career pathway opportunities.
If you would like to know more about working in care and the training and career path we can offer, then please apply today.
To join our team, our family, as a Care Assistant, you don’t have to have previous experience working in a care or nursing home.
